Liberating the Internet..

There are a lot of opinions on whether if the internet has made a good impact in the world or if it has made a bad impact in the world.
The first challenge that Wael Ghonim said in his speech was that while being in the internet we don´t know how to deal with rumors. This means that rumors that have been said by a bias person are believed and spread with others. The second challenge is that we create our own chambers. Making your own chambers is like communicating, liking, follow, etc specific people that have the same opinion as you so you don´t basically don´t interact with other people except the ones you agree with. The third challenge is while chatting online the discussion quickly descend into angry mobs. Sometimes people say things to get us mad and we respond in a way that we normally don´t. ¨it´s as if we forget that people behind screens are actually real people and not just avatars.¨ said Wael Ghonim. The fourth challenge is that it has become reallyhard to change your opinion. ¨Because of the speed and brevity of social media, we are forced to jump into conclusions and write sharp opinions in 140 characters about complex world affairs. And once we do that, it lives forever on the internet, and we are less motivated to change these views,even when new evidence arises.¨ This was said by Wael Ghonim in his speech. Finally the fifth challenge in Wael Ghonim´s opinion it is the most critical everything is done in the internet itś as if we agreed that we are here to talk at each other instead of talking to each other.
One of Wael Ghonims suggestion to liberate the internet is to change peoples mind. In his speech he says that if he could just know how many people have changed their minds, then he would write more thoughtful things, than just writing things that would appeal to the people who already agree with him. A second suggestion that he said was effective crowd sourcing mechanism this is to fact-check widely spread online information,and reward people who take part in that.
This is how Wael Ghonims plans on liberating the internet and making sure that human are treated like humans in social medias.

Which personality do I have?

Based on what  the 16 Personalities Test says on  my strength, I am a supportive, reliable, patient,imaginative, observant, enthusiastic, loyal, hardworking, and have good practical skills. I agree with these strengths because they are true I do support people when they have problems I am also really patient with people. I also think I am hardworking and loyal and have good practical skills.
Now based on what it says on my weaknesses, I am a really humble and shy person, I take things to personally, I repress their feelings, I overload myself, I am reluctant to change and too altruistic.
I agree with the weaknesses because I am really shy and humble. Yes, sometimes I take things to personally, I think the overloading myself is true because sometimes I worry to much about other people and I think I have way to many problems to worry about theirs but I still do.

Based on what the 16 personalities says on my friendships, I make friends by comfortable and consistent contact, so this means that I make friends by working with them and having a consistent contact with them which is true because I do make friends like that.

Dear Future Self...

I am still in University studying to become an Obstetical nurce. I have been working really hard there had been hard times where I want to give up and kill myself. In my free time I like going to the movies and go shopping. I remember when I used to like dolls and I like playing out side. You can not imagine the house you are getting it is really pretty all that work you are going to do is really going to be paid of. The house ( more like a mansion) is really big it is a 3 floor house. I just want to tell you to work hard and never give up because all of that work you are doing it is really going to be paid of.

Reflecting on my Goals

For my Academic goal I did not achieve my goal because It was to hard for me to get it. I think I can type faster on my one than copying something the computer is telling me to type. At this time when i set my goal it was within the months of testing so I din have much time to practice typing and get better at it. I din´t really try making my goal because I was to worried for the test and focused more on studying than practicing typing. If I could go back in time I would make more time in my schedule to practice typing and a get better at it to achieve my goal.

For my Personal goal I think I did met my goal. I think I met my goal because when Mr. Johnson asked questions I would sometimes raise my hand to answer. Raising my hand in class was helpful because i think it made me more interactive because in this class I don´t talk much because there are only 6 and 7th graders and 3 boy 8th graders that I don´t talk to much, so I think that by raising my hand i interact more with people. No I did not use any other strategies.
